Da Guido La Pasta Melbourne

Beautifoul restaurant. The experience is really authentic. I love every single time I go there for a meal. The staff is so friendly, they don't only serve you food, they have a chat to you with genuine interest. The quality of the ingredients they use is unquestionable. I love Da Guido La Pasta!

Great spot with a smaller but interesting menu. A bit different than other restaurants on the strip by feeling less stressed and more relaxed. The food was great with everything being freshly prepared and I always like an open kitchen where the chef is happy to showcase their talent. Portion size was probably on the small side, I kind of like to be left feeling full rather than just satisfied. Its at the city end of Lygon so not as busy as the main area where its a bit pushy sometimes.

I have visited this wonderful place with my friends. Great service from friendly waitress, owners, wonderful atmosphere and big serves of food. Good value, lots of options and very good food. Just book and go. Yes, booking is good idea especially in the Summer. :) I will visit again soon.

Arrogant rushed service and mediocre food is an unacceptable combination. We visited the place later in the evening and ambiance was charming enough to seat us down. The server was at best uninterested to talk, and realistically didn't give a damn. We wanted a rather light dinner so ordered one salad before the meal and he unsolicited suggested we get an additional appetizer, so we did so. It turned out the salad was really more than enough. Then the mediocre, cold pasta dishes rolled in that we really didn't enjoy. When we wanted to end the uninspired experience there sooner and passed on the desert, he rolled his eyes and left to get a check. I asked for a receipt but he didn't (Said he misunderstood me!). Two stars are only for the very fresh organic salad, the rest couldn't have been less pleasant.

Wonderful lunch. This place is a classy, tasteful Northern Italian style restaurant. We were a group of 8 and 7/8 agreed pasta was delicious. Service was warm. Kids not thrilled that pasta was super Al dente. But adults enjoyed the texture.
