Overall a very nice dining experience! We did the 5 share plates deal which gave us a nice taste of lots of things and it was clever how the kitchen portioned it for just the two of us. It was also enough food as we left very satiated.nMy favourite was definitely the bao and crying tiger beef. Dishes like the chicken curry, crispy barramundi and the prawn toast needed a little more flavour and spices, felt like they were missing something and just a bit bland for what I'd expect for the price point.nnThey also forgot to give us rice and we only realised towards the end of our meal when we had to ask for some. Not a huge deal, just would have been disappointing if we hadn't gotten any!nnOur server was lovely and explained the menu well to us so we understood. We really appreciated being told what was in the dishes as the staff gave them to us. There's a fun chill vibe to the place overall.nnWe also really enjoyed the house made sodas, the Cucumber lemon grass was so refreshing and light. The salted peach was good but could also use more spice, it just had a very faint warm hum instead of tasting any actual chili.nnOverall it was an easy, pleasant experience, just needs a little more spice and flavour!
Asian fusion restaurant with a great set menu!nnCame here to celebrate my birthday and did the banquet menu for $69pp with 6 dishes. The amount of food was so generous and we were stuffed by the end! Drinks and the atmosphere were also nice. It was really loud so a bit hard to talk but the restaurant was very busy so that’s explainable.
Rice Paper Scissors has a great vibe with its modern, casual atmosphere.nThe staff are friendly, and the food is fresh, flavorful, and well presented. I really enjoyed the crispy coconut cup.
We were seated quite quickly, due to having a reservation. We ordered food soon after and the food arrived within 20 minutes, even though the restaurant was in its dinner rush. The food tasted absolutely amazing and there were quite a few options. Overall, it was a superb experience.
One of the best bites I’ve had in 2025. The menu is very unique and the atmosphere is fun. Everything about this place is amazing. My wife is gluten free and almost the entire menu suited her. We ordered the 6 plates.nnMust try is the Coconut shells. They will knock your socks off.
