Story

Hochi Mama was the god mother of all aspiring street artists and rappers in the early 90's.

An immigrant in the big city, she hosted underground art shows along with rap battles for the rejects; a place where you could just be at home, but with family. The whole crew was always welcome, the more the merrier, and she was well renown for creating innovative dishes using the original famous dishes from her home country, and plenty of booze, in her spacious and homey warehouse.

The r&b and hip hop beats are always pumping, the playful cocktails flowing; it’s always a fun time at Hochi Mama’s.

Sit back and chill. From bar nibbles to Vietnamese- inspired cocktails, South- East Asian feasts to cold beers with mates, you're always welcome at Hochi Mama's.

I love the feed me option. Nice and affordable. You can choose 2 entree, 2 main and 1 side dish. Excellent strong cocktails - great value for money. The service and atmosphere are great. I would like to go back there again.

A very groovy restaurant in a little alley way. Great dishes and a great food deal for two people for $59. Me and a friend did this and we loved the foods. We also got a cocktail each and these were basically the same price of all the food. The cocktails were the let down of this place. I would not bother with the cocktails again. There was not much taste or punch to them at all. Just stick to the amazing food here with the cheaper drinks or even just water!

So good we came back again the same week. Creative, fresh food with bags of flavour! Great staff, great location... Absolutely love this place!

Superb for snacks and main meals. Super fast service and really friendly staff. Delicious side and shared a couple of mains. We were on our way to the theatre and they had us in, fed and in time for the show in under 30 mins. Taste buds are still dancing

Very tasty food. Great service, we only had an hour to eat, food came out quickly so did not have to rush to eat. Highly recommend.
