Just wanted to share our experience. The receptionist that checked us in sorry can't remember her name was so genuinely compassionate about the injury our son endured. There was a 2 hour wait but she said she will try to get us seen sooner. We called to see the nurse 20 mins later then sent through to xray. Our nurse was so thoughtful and thorough. Doctor called us in 5 mins after we completed our xray. He was calm and clear in his instructions. Every person we came into contact with was professional, kind and genuine. The staff deal with so many people and there are some nasties out there. From my whanau, thank you so much. You all deserve so much more than a thank you.
Visited Counties Medical on Monday, 27 January after my elderly husband had a fall and hurt his shoulder. I had phoned prior and was told we would have a two hour wait. We were seen by a nurse immediately. Carol was awesome, putting my husband at ease and giving him a good check over. Then went to xray. Had a bit of a wait to see the Doctor but it was worth it. He explained the x-rays and as my husband had hit his head and has several health issues he made a full examination. We left feeling very reassured and very happy with the level of care from both Carol and the Doctor.
I thought I would wait for a while but it was only 10 mins approx...I saw a very nice paramedic..explained my situation she sent script to chemist email..... I had to wait for chemist to open......the day I went was a public holiday so chemist opened at 9.00. I waited for script for a little while...went to counter they said I needed to see a Dr fir my script.....went to reception to say chemist said I needed a script from Dr......explained who I saw....other receptionist did not know about paramedic....other receptionist said I know who it is......I went back to chemist to wait....paramedic came thru with script as she passed me she apologized for misunderstanding....she confirmed chemist email.....i hope if i ever go to a & e at papakura again i see that paramedic....she was awesome.....12 out of 10.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Counties Care Family Doctors, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. From start to finish, I was impressed with the level of care and attention provided by the staff.nnFirstly, I was pleased with the quickness of my visit. I didn't have to wait long before I was seen by the doctor, which was a pleasant surprise. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable, and I felt comfortable discussing my medical concerns with them. They were able to answer all of my questions and provided me with clear and concise explanations of my treatment options.nnWhat really stood out to me was the genuine care and concern shown by both the doctor and the receptionist. It was clear that they were both invested in my well-being and wanted to ensure that I received the best possible care. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and had all the information I needed.nnSpeaking of the receptionist, I must say that she was amazing and incredibly helpful. She was friendly, efficient, and went out of her way to ensure that my visit was smooth and stress-free. It's not often that you encounter such exceptional customer service, and I was truly impressed.nnThe only downside to my visit was the pharmacy located in the same building. I was disappointed to learn that they add an extra $5 to every prescription, which I consider to be a fraudulent practice. However, this does not reflect on the outstanding care provided by Counties Care Family Doctors.nnIn conclusion, I highly recommend Counties Care Family Doctors to anyone in need of quality medical care. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely caring, and they go above and beyond to ensure that their patients receive the best possible care. Just be sure to avoid the pharmacy in the same building.
Organised a phone appointment, the doctor didn't call when I called to ask why they had no idea and offered me another phone appointment in 6 weeks timenThis is unbelievablenn4/11/24nThank you for respondingnI will respectfully decline the offer to speak with your business manager as it is a doctor I need to see.nI know that funding is essential to keep the operation running but I feel patient numbers may have increased beyond capacity to ensure that funds are high and thus patient care has suffered and has perhaps dropped on the list of priorities.nI have enrolled with another centre as I have high blood pressure and I am not in a position to wait 6 weeks for an appointment.nI wish the centre and staff all the best for the future.
