Very terrible experience! I went to use the ATM to deposit my cheque. No one was using the ATM, but the staff asked me to wait outside for others to complete at the counter before we were allowed to use the ATM to deposit. I don't know why I wasted so much time causing me to miss a bus and my phone to run out of battery and turn off. I had to wait even though I had checked in with the service NSW app and I had a vaccination certificate. I don't understand.

The bank manager Michelle was super overly stringent about everything. Made us jump through hoops for three months to get one thing done! We got so frustrated and changed to another commbank who told us that we never needed to do all that and it would be done in a week!!!  I am livid at this spiteful lady, never coming back to this branch again. Who would purposefully make proceedures more difficult for customers ... Honey are you power tripping

Untrained staff do not know what they are doing. Front desk concierge does not know where to direct people, just books people in and doesn't know processes/very little training. Eastern European woman at desk had to consistently stop, restart, and had no clue how to operate the computer.  Wasted 40 minutes here simply trying to close an account. Do yourself a favour use another branch. Reflects badly on the branch manager at this location.

I would give 0 stars if I could! I would not do any banking at this branch. The branch manager - Viktoriya Shabalina was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her ego and negligence was appalling. I have made a formal complaint to Commonwealth Bank and as a result of this incident I will no longer be banking with this company.

After having the worst banking experience with NAB, my partner and I decided to move to commonwealth bank and the Elizabeth st branch in Surry hills. We had to wait a while to be seen but to be expected since we dropped in. Bank account opened very easily and the staff member I dealt with was very lovely and chatty, and we had no issues. She also have me her direct dial in case I had any questions afterwards.

Well it is a bank... what else to say. OK organized, helpful staff, everything has been sorted pretry quickly

Great experience from start to finish. Bit busy but always informed and felt well looked after. You will need a passport to sign up for an account. They also have coin deposit banks to count your change.

The deposits ATM is always broken.
