Friendly staff & grt a service, clean store, lots of space, fresh & lots of food options. We got what we needed.nThanks.
Avoid this supermarket – go elsewhere.nnI’ve ordered home delivery four times, and every single time the fresh produce has been old, with “use by” dates halfway through the week. I shop for a full week, so this is completely unacceptable.nnLast delivery was the worst yet — the Caesar salad and Asian salad were brown, limp, and inedible. The Helga’s bread I received was stale and dry, nothing like the soft, fresh product I normally receive.nnTo make matters worse, my Saturday morning delivery booked for “any time” was confirmed by email the day before for between 6am and 7am — clearly all my supposedly fresh items were picked the day before. No wonder nothing is fresh.nnColes has a good range of products, but unless it comes in a tin, the quality is shockingly poor. If you value fresh, usable food, shop somewhere else.
Staff are great except for the new manager that took over in early 2025. Rude and condescending to staff even in front of customers and definitely not a people person. Coles must be struggling for talent to be dipping this low into the gene pool. The place is a hazard when it rains with water pouring from the roof and onto checkouts and aisles. Fruit and veg don't put much thought into priorities - early in the day they'll often have no potatoes or tomatoes out but will be stacking the shelves with boutique lines such as tubes of herbs and not thinking about the basics first. Also getting ridiculous with the number of pallets sitting in the middle of the floor with staff stacking shelves during opening hours making the place an absolutely pain to navigate. Getting too stingy to pay for night fill? The huge number of Click & Collect trolleys is making the place even more stupid to navigate. Don't even get me started on the huge number of self serve checkouts and only having 4 actual checkouts - which are hardly ever staffed anyway....
A large Coles outlet with a huge stock that has been servicing the Victoria Point community for many years.nRecently upgraded and now easier entry and with larger self check out area.nWith an even larger Coles just recently opened which is listed as even bigger than this store and only a few kilometres away as well as 2 Woolworths and 1 Aldi in the precinct.nWith an ever expanding population matched with massive urban development in the area these many stores will do well.nGenerally not to crowded, but with a change in business practice shelf stacking is now only done during daytime hours which at times is a real pain for shoppers.
I'm normally a Coles shopper but after thew cyclone I'm disappointed. They were closed when I needed them the most. Closed while Woolworths was open. They've just lost a customer and Woolworths has gained one.
