What an absolute dump. Other than the location this place is one star at the most. No spare pillows or blankets, the lounge filthy and should have gone to the tip, very few PowerPoints, toilet had half flush button only the other was missing fridge has seen better days. Don't waste your money.
Rooms are tired , not maintained , management could not assist we had a maintenance issue well many and a lady in her pj’s turned up nCleaning was the major issue. Left items from Previous guest was not ideal - would not recommend unless you needed the location but there are many others within walking distance
Code apartments weren't as close to fortitude valley aa we had hoped so there was a lot of walking but thats ok. Nice view from our balcony. Hand having a pool there and I was happy they had a gym. Parking was a bit ridiculous.
Air conditioner was broken in both living/kitchen and bedroom. Had provided a replacement one that requires door to be left open and is very loud you cant sleep with it on. Also vent tube fell of every few minutes so 'replacement portable unit' was unusable.nA fan had also been provided that was FILTHY.nlooking at other reviews this has been a problem for a while.
The rooms were spacious, but that's where it stops. The following are mega issues.n1. No exhaust fan in bathroomn2. Bathroom light not working in ensuiten3. No complimentary tissues.n4. Empty shower cap box with nothing in it.n5. Slow drainage of hand basinn6. No extra blanketsn7. A/C not workingn8. Kitchen not clean, dust & crumbs on bench & under dishwashern9. Pillows flat & uncomfortablen10. Main bedroom mattress very uncomfortablen11. No ice traysn12. Very small pairing knife, blunt.n13. Disgusting stains on kitchen chairs.n14. No hooks anywhere in bathrooms to hang towels etc onn15. No coat hangers in Main bedroomn16. Lift is filthyn17. Bed heads not attached to walln18. NOT worth $359 per night!!...more like $120 a night for the condition of the place.n19. Hand rail falling off wall in ensuite bathroomn20. Hair dryer was manky, covered in hair & sticky to hold. I did not use this as it also didn't work!!n21. Skirting boards all round are gross.n22. Cleaners/housekeepers need HUGE education on how to clean!!n23. Oven dirty, outside.n24. Kitchen cupboards don't latch or stay shut.n25. On a positive note.....reception staff were pleasant.nRoom 502!
