Nice open space in the heart of housing/industrial sites. If it wasn’t for the aircraft overhead you’d think you were in the countryside. Good for dog walkers. Some duck ponds and lots of crisscrossed paths. A great local amenity but probably not something you’d travel to see specifically.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
dog friendly very spaces, and a lovely fishing pond catch and release i assume. plenty of hills. so ur bound to get a good workout.
Love this place for how wild/rough it is, yet there is plenty of well kept paths. I would avoid if it's been raining unless you are prepared to get your shoes muddy
One of my favourite places!... To run, to walk, to be alone, with the family... All seasons.Visited onWeekendWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedNo
A very beautiful escape from the concrete of South London. A gem of nature that you won't find in your local town centres. A place where you can unwind amongst this local beauty. You can go on very nice walks across different landscapes. Landscapes include the different ponds, grasslands, forests and spots where ant hills are in abundance. If you like run there are lots of cross country routes. Types of animals which I've seen include Rabbits, Foxes, Egyptian Geese, Canadian Geese, Woodpeckers, Stalks, Green Snake, Frogs, Camourant, plus many more. A great place to see animal's you don't see every day. If you need to escape the hustle & bustle, this is a great place on your doorstep.
A lovely and very spacious green space in the heart of South London. A tranquil place to breathe and unwind when I'm too stressed with fast paced city life. Much to discover no matter what the season.
Large green space with ponds, open areas, woodlands and hills. It has insufficient bins meaning there is rubbish strewn in places and it is surrounded by busy, noisy roads or industrial areas, meaning no matter where you are, you can hear the faint roar of traffic or industrial noises, but you can still hear bird song.
Beautiful open Park lots of wildlife, ducks rabbits. I see people fishing in the ponds. It quite pently of open space for a bbq, picnic or just for a walk. Worth a visit.
Amazing park, when you want to get close to the nature in South London. Ideal for nice walk as well as picknick with friends, it is large and not too overcrowded.
I've visited twice in the last 8 days and that shows I absolutely enjoyed my experience. This time I was served by a lovely lady Joanna. Full of good energy and very helpful. Many thanks Jo xx
