A terrific place for dinner. Our salmon was perfectly cooked and really well flavoured. The Northern Thai noodle curry was also excellent. I’ve only seen this dish outside Thailand once in Australia so it was a real surprise to encounter it in tiny Strahan. We also ordered the mango sticky rice, which came with a bonus scoop of passion fruit ice cream perhaps to make up for the very tiny serve of mango. The restaurant was packed and yet the team of wait staff were efficient and friendly.
Great service and a fantastic meal. I suggest you book unless you’re ordering takeaway. A very popular place and I’m not surprised. We are only here a few days and I hope we get to eat here again before we leave.
Not many choice in a small town , and what need to to cooked freshly on the menu are not available for lunch. the chicken and chips are so dry. The waitress is friendly and working hard to clean the window since there is no customers. Great location, really hot in summer and no air con.
Came in for a nice evening out. The service when you walk in the door was great. They always check up on you and make sure the meal is going well. My only issue was the price for value on the food. I felt that the lamb ribs were way too fatty, not enough meat, and not enough sauce. The pork belly was ok, but I’ve had better. The main dishes were a bit over priced. For that reason I can only give 3/5 and I wouldn’t go again.
Tasting share platter was beyond spectacular. A must try, and probably don't share, get your own. Seafood chowder for main was authentic and home spun. Not a fake item in it. Lamb was perfectly cooked and brilliantly sized. Atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Staff were friendly and informative.
New owners with two Thai chefs providing excellent menu options. Lovely friendly staff. Food served promptly. Looked and tasted amazing! Recommend the Massaman beef curry and chicken stir fry with cashews.
So enjoyed dining here with super friendly staff and an interesting menu which made it hard to choose as so many tempting dishes. The Drunken Chicken was outstanding as was the Banana Split Dessert with a modern twist!
One of my favourite Thai restaurants in the world! Really amazing flavours and so well presented! If you are on the west coast book in!
Good location but service was very hit and miss. Asked for all dishes to come out together and had 3/5 come out and get cold before the dried rice and cashew chicken came out. Cashew chicken wasn't great tasting and the fried rice portion was small considering. For the type of foods we waited far too long and was a disconnected dining experience.
What an exquisite meal! We had the Crying Tiger and Northern Thai Noodle Curry and were left wanting more. You are. You overwhelmed with choice here as the focus is on perfect balance of flavours and execution. Would be back for more in a heartbeat. The service is super attentive and efficient. A standout!
