My husband and I are from Queensland and are currently travelling through Western Australia. We had finally made it to Bunbury on Monday 24th March.nnOn Tuesday 25th March I was in need of urgent medical assistance and my husband and I arrived at your hospital at approximately 8.30am.nnFrom the moment we arrived, until I left on Thursday 27th March, I was treated with the utmost respect and care from every member of your teams starting with Triage, Reception, Emergency Department, Short Stays, Surgical Ward, Doctors, Nurses, Pathology, CT Scan & Ultrasound departments, wards-men, cleaners and catering staff.nnEvery team member had a smile on their face and completed each part of my “journey” very efficiently.nnThere is no way I can say thank you except to ask that you show this review to your team leaders to be distributed to their team members so they know that they make an amazing impact in their patients experience while being taken care of in the hospital.nnThumbs up Bunbury Regional Hospital. You have amazing staff working for you and this reflects in the hospital community throughout.nnMy best regards to you all.nnSandra M
Brilliant nursing teams, outstanding care from doctors and all clerical and service staff. We were so well cared for in a really difficult time. We are VERY fortunate to have such a high level hospitals in WA. Thank you.
This HOSPITAL does pick and choose who they want to treat, there is no equality here, if you are public patients who do not have private health, do not go here, because thats what they care the most, $$$$. might as well travel to Perth with the long waiting here, just sitting and waiting, not knowing when you will be assisted, the doctor is more concerned about the funding rather than providing you a right care, I would not give this a star at all if there was an option for rotten tomatoes. I lived in Bunbury for 13 years now, I worked most of the time, I wasted paying tax in this city, this is the first time I actually went through the ED, after attempting twice in past 6 years, ended up going home beacuse i wanted to lay down and rest, should be at least a consideration to give a patients a care that needed, especially if a person has not used ED in 5 or 10 years, rather than worrying about the funding etc. This hospital should be in Undercover Boss tv show. I AM HOPING I do not need to go to this hospital in future.
Many visit over the years of living in Bunbury.nnThe entrance now has a cultural touch to welcome and acknowledge the Noongar people of this land. Nice, bright and beautiful upon entry. Much more culture is displayed in the hospital.nnShop available at front for you to pick up quick card, snack or gift when visiting friend /family.nnThe staff although busy were respectful and helpful. My appointment at the hospital went smoothly and referrals relevant to my need. I felt heard and understood. Thank you for the good service received.nnAttended DESMOND program at hospital. Great facilitators.nnER space is busy and long waits, but understanding priorities. Always cared for well.
The lady who answered the phone at 5.30,n25-05-25, was appalling and beyond rude.nSure understandable to where one can and can't assist but for a general enquiry there should have been at least a few kind words and being human and suppose a few pointers wouldn't of hurt.nHad my partner in tears. SHOCKED. Complete robot.nNow, indefinitely, fearing the worse in having my upcoming birth here in November. Hoping it's not too late to transfer to Busselton for a more supportive service
