Budget Car and Truck Rental Southern Cross Station

There was a Chinese guy when we went to book a car. He was very rude and did not provide any help. Worst customer service. I just want to tell everyone that before going here please check with europcar or thrifty which is right next to this place. Guys if u dnt get rid of that rude Chinese guy he s gonna get ua company bankrupt.

If you are new to Melbourne it requires a bit of getting used to for a seamless transaction in this venue :) It requires a little 'journey' to pick up/drop off the car at the designated parking bay in the busy Southern Cross station/terminal. But once you know how things work it's becomes so accessible! I would use it again in my next trip to Melbourne. They offer zero liability insurance as well, not all Budget shops offer this option (most of them offers reduced excess of ~$650). Caution, the shop can be very busy with lots of tourists who don't speak English fluently so you may need to wait in the queue for a while.

Paying extra for the location but not the service. Had to wait for an hour to pick up the car. Poor management.

Shocking service. Will not answer telephone. Avoid at all costs.
