I had a wonderful stay at this establishment! The room wasn’t hot which is good during summer, the facilities are clean and overall it was a good atmosphere! It is near a lot of tourist spots which made things very helpful. However the light of my stay there was the friendly rooster who always ran up to me!

Very good and lovely place to stay! Only downfall was not enough toilets, because the toilet and bathroom where in the same room.
Stayed with my partner for 3 nights. Rooms were big and spacious if you like old style rooms and furniture this is your place. Big kitchen and service was great.
Well what can I say, what a truly wonderful welcome especially after a day of road closures & and ferry problems down south!nnAlthough pre booked I arrived here as a stranger and immediately felt like I was known, a guided tour of my room and facilities which were plentiful. Room clean and comfortable which was to the rear of the main building. There's plenty of road parking and it's a 25 minute walk into town.nnThe house itself had a wonderful nostalgic feel and a true slice of NZ culture, my third visit to the country but my first to North Island, I can recommend this place to anyone new wanting a fantastic warm welcome.nWell done guys.
