Outstanding service and attention to detail from Kelly. A warm friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Stayed over the busy Christmas period and even received fresh towels on Christmas Day! Everyone including the service team are lovely, and while in some areas the rooms are dated, I would not stay anywhere else. Perfect location. Close to supermarket & local shops and very central. Will be back again this year. Huge thanks Kelly, you’re amazing!
The stay here was great! We were very lucky to get a free upgraded room from Kelly. Kelly is very friendly and helpful, ensuring we had a great stay. The room was wonderful, we had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfortable, shower had great pressure, aircon worked perfectly. The room was clean and tidy, and it is a nice quiet area. The motel is close to town so perfect if you want to have a wonder around. I have stayed here few times now and have always had a good experience. Burwood is definitely my number one go to when im in whanganui.
After a very long day it was so nice to be warmly welcomed by the sweetest lady the owner? who kindly upgraded one of our rooms so our tired family had plenty of space.nThe rooms were spotless and we were provided with real milk for our tea- a rarity these days!
My wife and I spent a couple of nights at Whanganui and we booked at the Burwood because it was one of very few places available because of a local festival during the weekend. Turns out we couldn't have found a better pleace!nnThe motel sits far enough from main street -Victoria Avenue- but not too far. So one can still walk to the cafes and does shopping while staying in a quiet place away from noisy roads.nnThe rooms are clean and large enough with daily house keeping. Wide parking space for each flat, but the highlight of the place is the owner, who was really helpful and raises the bar as far as customer services and attentivness goes.nnNext time we're in Whanganui, we won't have to consider other accomodation options.
