This place is very functional and nothing special but it's still perfectly fine for a place today. The person on reception was very friendly which was a nice introduction. There are cooking facilities in the rooms a me a separate shower/bathroom/toilet. The decor would have been great in the 80s or 90s but I think that just adds to the charm.

The room was $89 so cheap. The bed was good. Sky TV sport and free wifi. Close to the city. Plenty of nice towels. What let it down was a not nice bathroom - old shower with paint peeling off it's ceiling in large chunks. Ceiling of bathroom dirty. Old bathroom sink. The wallpaper in main room needs replacing, very dirty in one part and starting to peel at edges.

Lovely motel units. Fully self contained. Outside family area, fir energetic ones. Very good rates. Close to Whanganui township & river.
