Great 'Old fashioned' comfortable hotel.
Very interesting, welcoming proprietor. (If you're lucky he may 'tickle the ivory's on the Grand Piano.)

If you're want good food, service, friendly staff it's all here. Everyone is catered for here. If you want to know anything ask the staff and they will guide you. A very Merry Christmas to each and everyone one of you at the Grand.

Little gem of a pub! Love it, good food and very reasonably priced. We take friends here when they come to Wanganui.  It has that real old time Irish pub feel to it.

I love the fact that there are 3 distinctly different eateries in this one beautiful building. I have enjoyed meals in each.  Last Christmas I enjoyed an excellent meal at The Grand. This year I'm returning for a repeat & look forward to it.
