As a regular traveller around New Zealand I get to stay in many hotels and motels and I rank Cooks Garden Motel amongst my top ten.  Every aspect of my stay was perfect.  From the friendly staff to the spotlessly clean, well appointed rooms to the attention to detail and all the extra little things done to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome.  Top notch!

We were there mid tour exhausted. 
If one has to be exhausted, this is a good place to relax and charge.

Pretty good motor lodge. Had the internet go out on me once for about 20 minutes while I was on a conference call. Nice and tidy.

Very obliging hosts.  Beds comfy. We were in room 11. We got lots of early morning noise from people using kitchen in 12.  Otherwise great stay. Will definitely come back again.
