Today we celebrated my 40th birthday at blue bonnet, and it was amazing. The food was incredible and the service was exceptional. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating of our individual needs. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Every bit of 5 stars well earned.

One of the best places you can go to if you're craving bbq. Tucked away in a quiet Fitzroy residential area, this gem packs a punch and a half. The place was packed and we didn't have a reservation but were told that they could accommodate us in an hour. So we sat at the bar and had some wonderful cocktails. We ordered Beef Brisket, Crispy Lamb Ribs and sides of Cornbread, Grits and Fries. The main courses were just melt in your mouth scrumptious! The grits and cornbread, DELICIOUS!! Worth every dollar spent. I'm going back for dinner next week!

MEAT SWEATS!!!! Best smoked meats in Victoria, possibly Australia. Brisket and ribs were amazing! Super chilled out but really helpful and attentive wait and bar staff. Good drinks menu. Restaurant needs some fans or a few ACs on a hot day though.

Ate the pork ribs and brisket plus slaw and corn bread. Pork ribs were a little lean and peppery for my taste but still good. Brisket tasty, not too dry. Slaw and cornbread great. Service also great.

My absolute favourite bbq restaurant in Melbourne. Restaurant staff are very friendly. The brisket and chopped hog are to die for. If you're a fan of low and slow look no further.
