Story

Located in the heart of Fitzroy, the Industry Beans warehouse is a transparent operation of sourcing, roasting & brewing specialty coffee alongside an open kitchen serving up food from a seasonal brunch menu.

Every day of the week the friendly barista team offers an extensive range of single origins & blends brewed on a wide variety of methods including espresso, pour over, aeropress, cold drip & cold brew. They also serve up the IB Bubble Cup - the first ever specialty coffee cold drip bubble cup.

Brothers Steven & Trevor Simmons established Industry Beans in 2010 as a small batch roastery that recognises the importance of the relationship between roaster, coffee maker & coffee drinker.

Industry Beans roasts daily for its cafe and a family of high-quality cafes and restaurants across Australia.

The best coffee beans ever. This time I tried Autumn blend in cappuccino, rich, full-bodied flavor with a smooth finish and just the right hint of dark chocolate. The beans taste freshly roasted, and you can really tell they care about quality. We also had banana bread which was okay but it could be better.
The food was mid, the chicken burger tasted a bit like fish I suspect the same oil has been used to fry the fish and chicken.nBut the coffees were amazing, one of the best I've tried.nOverall the food is mid, atmosphere is really good and shoutout to the wonderful waitress who served us.
We loved our time this morning - our coffee was impeccable, the porcini nest was mind blowing. Hannah, our server was super attentive and right on point. It was so good, we even ordered the bubble coffee for takeaway and that was so good!
Very cool interior. From the moment we entered staff were attentive, warm and welcoming. Great coffee and drink options, as well as food that looks incredible but doesn’t quite meet the standard set in terms of taste. Would come back for coffee and for the vibes.
Modern and spacious cafe with own bean roasting facilities. My cappuccino was a Fitzroy bean blend and it was a bit mild for a cappuccino but tasty. The burger was good with solid bread and juicy meat. The chips are more decoration than anything. I saw many people working on laptops so if you need a working-break this could be your place.
