Don't even bother with these over-priced, useless camping store. They literally have the same camp gear in big W at the Sunshine plaze FOR HALF THE PRICE and when you ask them to price match match something, be bloody careful. It has to be the EXACTLY the same brand or they day you can't. Even though one of their employees told me to my face, yeah we can price match that, I went to get the gad burner what I wanted and they said they'd do the price match, get back to the tellers and I get the manager, she says no, even n though the other guy who said yes was right next to her. She didn't even have the courtesy to ask the young fella what happened. POS. So I'll never shop there again and I advise anyone who want to save half the money they are charging, just go to big w. It's literally the same crap.
I just purchased a new surf rod and reel combo. Special mention to Russ. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I even got my new outfit spooled in store. Thanks guys, I look forward to getting out fishing
Checked website for opening hours which advertised 6.00pm close. Drove to the stare and arrived at 5.35 and the door wouldn’t open, checked trading hours on the front of the store which verified 6.00pm closenKnocked and was rudely told by a staff member that they were closed. When I said that both the website and store sign said 6.00pm I was told “well we closed at 5.30”
Purchased $500 of fishing bits & pieces, then had to try & carry it all as these clowns couldn't even provide a bag! Its just b.s that these major stores can't even provide their shopper with a bag!
They looked me in the eye, smiled, and sold me defective goods! I despise that level of maggotry! My first, and last time shopping there.
