Always great experience! Staff are helpful and friendly. Make sure to check discounts if you're a member of RACQ or Event Cinemas. Most of the time they would offer 50% off depending on days. It's a big savings especially for a family of four like us. We love the VMax comfortable recliner is the best while watching.
My phone was on silent and I was receiving a important call, I waited till it ended made a quick textno sound , it only took 15 seconds. I was unaware that a text was inappropriate and needed to be taken outside. The person working for Event Cinema rudely, loudly and abruptly verbally abused me. There are better ways to deal with issues, people pay a lot of money to go to a movie. It felt like I was a criminal. Nice one guys.
Nothing beats the big screen. Smooth transition through check-in during the school holidays mania. Friendly welcoming staff. Love the new look- entrance, bar and lounges. Having other alternative beverage options now to enjoy at the movies is also a huge bonus. Watched "Top Gun" and felt very relaxed in the comfortable seats. Great overall experience.
Had a bad experience today, I bought tickets to a movie on the self serve booth then que on the online purchase before the counter to just buy some drinks and popcorn, but when I was about to be serve and told the lady I just want pop corn and drink, she told me she can't serve me cause I was on the wrong que and ask me to do another que on to the right line. She doesn't want yo hear me instead she called the next customer so I was force out. So I did another que but takes me a while to be serve as the que are long already. I may done unknowingly wrong by queuing on the wrong line but initially I thought buying on the booth is kinda online thing. But seriously I thought the lady who serves me needs to be a little bit considerate to hear me out first or serve me then tell me the right thing to do next time, and finally after the movie, the movie ticket won't scan on the validation machine and have to pay for the parking. Bad luck for me today!
Great cinema. Well laid out, good cafe, comfortable seating. A very pleasant experience.
Recently went to the Vmax cinema, the experience was worth the extra few dollars. The seats are amazing compared to the old cinema seats, with full electric reclining ability and heaps of padding and miles of leg room, the screen was huge and the sound was deafening. Our kids Absolutely loved it. Definitely worth it.
Last Movie watched here was Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness and absolutely loved it. Soon going to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Our drinks accidentally spilt before the movie, Claire cleaned it up for us and gave us replacements. Very friendly and professional staff.
Clean tidy, very few people there during a wk day, so was quiet and peaceful and enjoyed the movie
Love the v-max cinema at grand central. Simply an amazing viewing experience.
