Cinemas always smell of urine. Food charges are now beyond ridiculous. $ 16 for a large popcorn and drink which is now the size of the old medium. Chairs are very warm and uncomfortable. Staff dont care at all. Worst in area by a long way. Cinemas not cleaned between movies. Food all over seats. Toilets a disgrace. Small child leaving burnt finger badly on the isle lights Filth , council really needs to look at the health risks to the public.
The seats were mouldy and smelly and couldn't reclined. The ticket prices are cheap, got mine for $8. The food is overpriced. They don't have parking and wasn't mentioned anywhere in the website about it. Had to go around the city to find parking. They could have mentioned where customers can park to the least. Movie quality was good though.
We go here a lot and it has never smelt of urine like other people are suggesting. It does smell a bit musty I guess though. The staff are always great, the popcorn is yummy unlike the popcorn at Redbank. They have recently put the prices up however if you are booking online as a Cinebuzz member sign up on their website you can get your tickets for $8 still. They do clean the cinemas between movies however they don't do the best job but nothing too bad.
Nicely cheap, but you get what you pay for. For example, at least one cinema has a glowing green exit sign right next to the screen, putting a splash of light on the lower left of the screen washing out the projection somewhat. Staff seemed friendly, but have been occasionally scarce when needed.
Saw 'Hidden Figures' today. Great film. Good service and seats, and toilets clean. Price of $20 for book of 5 Seniors vouchers is terrific. Only negative is I saw spelling of 'theater' instead of 'theatre' on on-line advertising. Too much Americaisms, to go with 'candy bar'.
Went and saw a good movie but the cinemas are getting tatty. The service by the young man was great but the toilets were a disgrace. The urinal leaked onto the floor and the grout is falling out of the tiles. The seats were stained and clearly worn. The price us right though, due to their competition with limelight.
Less busy than the other cinemas. Good picture quality and sound. Parking can be a challenge as mostly on street, or have to park at bottom of mall and walk up. Reasonable prices, obvious competing with others. Friendly staff. Can often get to the see the movie I want whereas in other cinemas they are sold out. On a rainy day you will get wet if park on street.
Smells of damp and mould, like it needs a good clean. Chairs look about as good as the smell, but at least the movies are only $5, right? Would absolutely never pay full price here. Screen is not 4K, not HDR and sound is kind of meh. Just another aging cinema that hasn't been updated and up kept.
It is such a shame to see this cinema close down. It has been somewhere to take some of my 12 grandchildren. Which is affordable, comfy seating, big screen, the staff are great. The grandchildren are disappointed as well.
The cinema smells like mould and damp sweat. Definitely need to close a cinema at a time and deep clean the sin out of them, absolutely nasty smell. Makes it hard to enjoy a movie or the pop corn
