Saw Avatar the way of water, waited 13 years as many of us have, and I was not disappointed,I was in the new V-Max theatre and very comfortable reclining chairs and a beverage. Highly recommend it to all
GR8 movie experience and snacks. Only problem we had was the difficulty for my disabled friend to manovour himself up the flights of stairs to get to the counter and then once in the vmax cinema down to his recliner chair. I had made enquiries to the staff at the cinema prior to booking if there was easy access for disability services and was assured that there was but this was information was incorrect once we arrived. This was very frustrating.
This cinema is well kept, but as everyone states when you get here it kind of smells of old carpet or my grandmas house The cinema is clean, the screen size is fine. Service was prompt.
Good place to see a movie, located in the up section of the shopping centre, carpark is literally just outside the cinema, shopping centre is down a level and you can enter directly into the food court area.
This cinema is possibly the oldest in Cairns and it looks and smells tired. The cinemas themselves are smaller than Smithfield and Cairns Central. The upside of all this is that they are usually less busy than the other two event cinemas. They also tend to show movies for a little longer.
Had some issues with people next me talking all through the movie. And next to my partner a guys phone kept buzzing and going off
Since the renovations alot better and love the new seating
New cinemas are awesome, nice comfortable seating.
The new cinemas are excellent - one of my favourite places to watch a new release movie!
It was great and no queues when you pay online
