Renovations have made a huge difference. Now a pleasant place to train menu improved too. Don't know what the rooms are like.

Barossa Taxis recommends customers to stay at the Weintal. I personally have stayed here many times and always book in family members when visiting Barossa. Have dined many times in new Cucina restaurant and highly recommend to everyone, the food is amazing.. This is quality accommodation in the heart of Tanunda recently upgraded and expanded restaurant and other facilities. Rooms and suites here are very generous size and always clean. This hotel is next to our Taxi Base Barossa Taxis and we have staff meetings and dining at the Weintel resort. The food is excellent and the very well priced. Weintal is close to wineries, cellar doors and restaurants. Ideal place for weddings, Wine tours and transportation for up to 30 people easily organised through Barossa Taxis.

Hotel rooms were nice and clean but were a bit smaller than expected. Also the resturaunt and bar was nice and we had very friendly service.

Listed on Trivago etc as "fully refurbished" with the spa room "on special" for $150 per night. Unfortunately the room was dated and the shower/bathroom window mouldy. This place has potential but the poor standard of our room in no way warranted the cost. For $150 per night there are far better alternatives available. Very disappointed.

the air conditioner took 12 hours to cool the room down the food??? not much to choose from and not that great. left early because why would you stay here???? but tanunda is awesome alot of great wineries i had to give it 1 star to post this
