Good comfortable vehicle, clean, economic as a hybrid.nExcellent pick up at airport by Jacintha, nice pleasant  lady, help us to carry our luggage. Quick paper work.nDisappointed with the return of the vehicle, gate not opened before 8 am, no box to give the key back, I was here at 7 .15am to be at airport 2 hours before leaving, staff already inside, call them, sign call by hand, they wouldn’t come at the gate, and no shuttle service to returned airport as it was indicated in the agreement contract. Taxi $19.00. Call the 1800 main center supposed to be open by 6.30 am, no answer. An extra stress which is not necessary  before taking a plane.nNext time we will rent vehicle directly from airport side. Please reply to our review and reimburse our taxi fee.

Beautiful fantastic vehicle to fit our whole family, quick and easy pick up and drop off at cairns airport. Staff are very friendly, the only downfall was waiting for about an hour for o your vehicle to be ready. Will definitely hire again from them

Apex was absolutely fantastic. From helping arrange pick-up after hours to facilitating seamless drop-off when unfortunate circumstances arose, the team at Apex was incredibly caring, supportive, and a real pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond, resolving some issues for us without asking for any additional payment. The American lady we dealt with is a jet. I could not recommend Apex more highly.

First rate.nPickup - instructions were very clear. A quick phone call and the shuttle was there within 10 minutes. A short drive to depot. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Car was as we had ordered not always the case with rentals and cooling ready for us.nCar - clean and ran smoothly, can't fault it.nDrop off - as easy as pickup. Parked at the depot, staff straight out of the office and helping load us into the shuttle.

One of the few car rental places with professional service, no traps and competitive rates. Lovely staff picked us up from Cairns airport in a clean and cool transport as soon as we got off the plane and ferried us to their air conditioned offices. Cars were late model, clean and well maintained with no hiccups at all during the rental period. Bought full insurance for peace of mind. Inspected an immaculate car and was given the keys. Drove to Port Douglas and all through Cairns throughout the week. Dropped off the car at the office and after a quick inspection was whisked away to the airport with absolutely zero fuss. If only all car hire companies were like this!
