Awesome rental car company! Rented for five days on recent trip to Cairns. Upgraded my vehicle which was already well priced for the three days. Shuttle service to and from airport was comfortable and very efficient. Staff were really friendly and understanding when I was running late to return the car. Will definitely rent here again. Great fleet of modern vehicles of all types - perfect for cruising around FNQ!

I can honestly say this company saved my trip! At the airport, there were no cars available and the few options left were over $700. I called them, and within minutes they had a solution for me. I was able to rent a car for under $400, they even sent me a video with clear instructions on where to meet, and picked me up in less than 15 minutes. The staff was super friendly, and they gave me a brand-new, spotless car equipped with a baby seat for my little one. Fast, affordable, and reliable – 100% recommended!

I recently rented a vehicle from Apex which was the first time for me... usually would use Avis but their prices are now ridiculous. The shuttle pickup was timely, the vehicle more than appropriate and the service friendly and efficient.nnSadly on the morning of our return back to Sydney my wife had a major medical incident... later requiring a helicopter transfer from Tully Hospital to Cairns Hospital for specialist ongoing treatment.nnI contacted the Apex office alerting them to my situation and the need to extend my current car hire. Although fully booked school holidays and requiring the car that day for another customer, I was informed that they would do whatever was needed to extend my need for the car and not to worry. To say I was relieved with this outcome would be an understatement.nnSo, it gives me great pleasure to write this review... as the the compassion, understanding and customer service was off the charts. Thanks to Adam and his staff for their support and assistance during this stressful ordeal. You guys are the best!nnDavid/ Sydney

Seamless - short walk to pick up, on our way within about ten minutes of arriving at the office. Return was also extremely straightforward and efficient. Slightly higher km car than with Budget/Avis, but significantly cheaper. 10/10 would use this location again. Staff were pleasant and efficient.

A pleasure to deal with Apex. The price was amazing and all inclusive. The vehicle was excellent and such a relief to not be slammed with hidden and extra costs,  as experienced with other companies in the past. They are highly competitvely priced and the ease and full disclosure when booking online was refreshing.
