Allianz are by far the WORST insurance company I have ever dealt with and to say I am disappointed is an understatement! My car was written off in a hail storm. I was told I'd have two weeks with my existing car to get my affairs in order before they would 'swap' my car with a replacement. After not hearing anything for 1 week, I called Allianz to be informed they had the wrong claim number. Finally when they found me (it was the right claim number) they were "still awaiting a quote" and that I'd hear back on the following business day, which didn't happen. After hearing nothing from Allianz, I was surprised to then receive a call from the towing company. I called Allianz straight away and asked if they could postpone the tow given I had not received a replacement vehicle. At first I was told yes, the following phone-call I was told no (my car was gone by this point). I was told during the third phone-call that Allianz have "strict policies" to adhere to, and cannot keep the vehicle beyond 14 days. After calling them several times, and with no resolution, one customer service rep informed me that the procurement team hadn't actioned my claim and that I'd be "better off" opting for the payout. I was hesitant, but as I was already without a car, I said fine. As it was Wednesday, I was told I'd have the money in my account by Friday. Good I thought, at least I can look for a car on the weekend! Friday came, but the riches I was promised never came. I called Allianz right away and got the EXACT same spiel I had received on Wednesday, "I will get the transaction underway right now- you will receive the funds in two business days". How naive am I, I fell for it a second time! And true to form, I still haven't received a cent. _____ My partner also had hail damage, and was paid out within two days of attending the hail-damage centre. Evidently, the "strict" policies are a complete load of rubbish, as it's been 3 weeks and we are still waiting for it to be towed. Absolutely pathetic. I will never recommend Allianz.

Stay away from Allianz whatever you do. Had all my insurance with them the past 3 years and when I decided to call to discuss renewal they told me they can no longer insure my vehicles because of the industry I am in. They cancelled my policies instantly with NO explanation. Just like that! Amazing how this has not been an issue and if I would have left the renewal to roll over, all would be fin. Absolutely disgusting! Will never deal with them again.

My son was cheated on the travel insurance policy. This policy has excess of $200 not per policy but per event on your policy. This is the 1st time we bought from Allianz and was unluckily experienced flight cancelled after 6 hours on the plane. He made a claim but was paid zero on the flight cancellation. He also had an overseas emergency medical assistance but was charged excess again. 1 policy can have various excess of $200. Isn't it cheating? Beware! True, it is easy to buy on phone or online but making a claim , you maybe like him get zero.

Worst decision I made signing up with Allianz. They love signing you up with a decent discount but will not payout when you need your insurance to support you. I have been trying to claim market value as they mentioned when they signed me up 5 months back but now they nearly cut 40% of the value when they need to pay up. Been almost 2 weeks and they still have settled the matter. They should be gathering evidence to claim the damages from the other party instead they sit around negotiating the least they can pay me after I told them how I narrowly escaped the accident. The only thing they would pay for is their "TV commercials" I should've stayed with my previous insurer for 5 more months. Beware of Allianz!

Not great service in my experience, and other insurers offer better deals. They underwrite policies signed up by Nissan, but I think Nissan could offer better insurance deals to their customers than what Allianz provides.
