All dishes were very reasonably priced. This venus is great for large groups too. They by default provided us split billing per table. Thr food was served moderately fast. The food did come out hot and the sushi looked and tasted fresh.
I went few time to this resturent. Great place to go with the group. Reasonable price with good quality food. You will always get sit even if in peak hours. It has takeaway counter next to the door. We order lots of food for group of 8. All came in reasonable time. Food looks and test great. Overall happy experience.
Always a hit to come here for a work lunch or with friends. The meals are good with my favorite being the meals on boats! The downsides would be the acoustic being very bad - so when it is packed it is hard to hear and have a conversation and the service can be a little slow at times. Other than that the food is great and very reasonably priced. I'll be back
Akaneya is dependable. The old cruise combo is still the best... The new cruise combo 2.0 is still good but I prefer the Teri chicken to the karage chicken. It also seems a bit quieter. You should definitely come here.
Amazing japanese food the set menu is worth trying
I love the food. I love Japanese food and this is one of my fave places. Plenty of choices and really friendly staff.

Great Japanese restaurant in the CBD for lunch and dinner. The food is fantastic, very fresh and serving sizes are quite large. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Delicious sushi is what I go therefore but the menu is huge and I'd be surprised if a lover of Japanese food couldn't find multiple things there to keep them happy. Staff are great and always greet customers with a wide smile. This place does a mean lunch trade so it can get quite loud inside but the food is worth it! Favourite would have to be the Salmon Aburi Sushi or the Dinner Box which is great when you can’t decide!
Fresh and delicious. Excellent bento box selection. Salmon was fresh Chicken wasn't dry or overcooked Tempura was just right. A little pricey, but can't argue with the quality. Came for dinner, when it was quiet, so that helps.
Been to this restaurant twice this month, once for lunch with work mates and another for dinner with my partner as we were at a nearby pub earlier. The food was good, the setting has a bit of a food court feel and the service is a little slow. For the lunch, it took a good 30 minutes from when we placed our order before we all got served. Mind you, the place gets really busy during lunch time so I guess that is to be expected. But be prepared to be there for a while if you're doing lunch there on a work day.
