Had this place on my list for a long time and finally stopped by the other day. Small and cozy restaurant and I felt comfortable to have dinner on my own. I have chosen this time vegetarian dishes: Kara-age Tofu, Coco salmon and zucchini tempura skewers. They were all delicious. Also loved my mocktail. Definitely look forward to come back and try more dishes
The vegan eggplant Japanese curry is so so good I could eat this every day! I ordered a side of pickled ginger because I love it and received a giant bowl of it! Absolutely amazing! Service very nice as well, I'm only here a few weeks but I will definitely be back : Food: 5/5
Service: Excellent, staff were polite and friendly. Food: Salmon don was great, the sashimi was fresh and everything went well together. The ramen however, is only average. Seating: Could use an upgrade, total capacity is only about 20 pax.
Have been here a couple of times now and always experienced friendly service, lovely ambience with classy music playing, and flavours that are delicious and perfectly balanced - definitely a cut above. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, all clearly marked. Highly recommend
Awesome little Japanese Restaurant in the heart of Sydney CBD selling great quality organic food and drinks. Get in early. There is a queue to get in here shortly after 12pm weekdays. I had a big bowl of yummy Karaage chicken ramen Noodle Soup. Chicken based broth rather than a pork broth. So good, full of flavour. The fried chicken was the star of this meal. $16.50 which a good price for city food. Highly recommended. I will be back soon to try their Kara-age chicken curry with rice $18
Very cute lil Japanese restaurant gives off more relaxed dining vibes in Wynyard. We had to make a reservation as the place is quite small. Initially they had an error in our reservation but things turned out okay in the end. We ate the ramen. I got the chicken ramen and my friend had a vegetarian one. The chicken ramen was very nice - good texture of noodles, good serving size and amount of chicken and tasty broth. The service was also very good. The staff were courteous and friendly. Highly recommend for the food and the service! Although we were seated at the bar, it was still a good atmosphere and vibe.
They did their noodles Al dente which didn’t have anything to do with the soup base … competent at best … Kara age was actually chicken cutlet smothers with Uber powerful yuzu sauce … but better than I expected
It's a small place serving good food. Came across this restaurant while searching for team lunch. Unfortunately they don't take reservations for lunch. They had very good reviews online and decent veg options. Went alone and tried eggplant curry- this had paremesan eggplant soo good.loved it and would come again to try other veg options
This restaurant serves organic & free-range menu! I had Beef Tataki Ramen, and it was super delicious: tender beef with aromatic beef broth ramen so unique! and chewy noodles . The chicken ramen was good too. All ramen can be Vegan and/or Gluten Free by swapping it for rice noodles. They open for dinner too & the dinner menu is creative, such as: Shiitake Mushroom Quinoa Fried Rice, Tempura Broccolini etc. I will surely check it out next time. Service is lovely too. They do get busy during lunchtime though!
Quantity Japanese hole in the wall. You won't regret visiting. The the sashimi was fresh, the ramen was exceptional and the bento box was well sized. Quality ingredients and a local secret. Recommend the duck or the chicken and scallop. Being a hole in the wall there is limited seating and it's usually busy. Come early so you don't miss out on the specials as they are limited. Sapporo on tap is another bonus!
