Hired a car to travel the Ocean Road from Melbourne in January. Had a very nice new vehicle. As there were no maps to show us how to get out of Melbourne staff at the CBD office very kindly lent us a GPS they had spare. The whole experience was stress free with easy collection and drop off. Highly recommend this company.

I hired a car from Advance Car Rental a few days ago and I was very satisfied with the rates and discounts they had offered. Their customer service was tremendous. I was served by one of the their staff by the name of Vivek and he was super friendly. I would recommend this car rental to anyone. Thank you advance for making my stay here in Melbourne enjoyable. Booking was affordable and easy. However, we were Advised at 5pm the day before that the car was not available at our booked time but an hour later which really put us out (even though the owner argued that it was only an hour and didn’t warrant any sort of inconvenience). It was too late to organise a car with another company so had to accept the booking. They provided an upgrade which was nice but we did not want as it was a bigger car with more fuel but did not have a choice at that time. As a compromise, We were advised that we did not have to fill the car up when returning which was confirmed on pickup but argued on return so it was a massive miscommunication issue which ended up costing us more, them losing customers and getting this review. If this same thing happened with a more professional response we would have walked away disappointed but happy that it was dealt with understanding. Long story short, get everything fully documented and signed by all parties from the start. And if it is cheap then it actually isn’t as there are always hidden charges.

Car hire was Perfect! I hired during a very busy period - the Chinese New Year and the car they had for me had some last minute problem. They were so good with organising an upgrade and excellent customer service!!! Highly recommend these guys!!

Rented a car from Advance last week. Would be happy to recommend these guys to anyone looking for a hassle free car... they delivered the car to my hotel and gave a new car. Price was good too. All rebound perfect...
