The store manager Cino is also very proud of having such a great team of staff working at Woolsworth Ponsonby.nn2. The supermarket is very neat and tidy.nn3. Aisles are big and spacious.nn4. Lots of checkout counters with cashiers and self-service are available.nn5. Plenty of parking spaces.nn6. Sandwiches right at the entrance, so no need to even enter the shop. Amazingly stocked Woolworth and with free fruits for kids in this shop of 4 kinds and available, that’s impressive and not just an advertisement promise here. And definitely a different kind of wine selection, stop here for Riesling and Gewürztraminer if you’re keen to try something new and special

The staff made mistakes, but unfortunately the attitude towards the customer was even more disappointing. Everyone can make mistakes, but good customer service means taking responsibility, communicating respectfully, and trying to resolve the issue professionally. If someone is unable to treat customers with basic courtesy and respect, they really should reconsider whether a customer facing retail role is suitable for them. Very disappointing experience at Ponsonby Woolworths.

Rotate your vegetable stock! I shouldn’t have to deal with onions rotting from the inside out also not only is there agitated beggars at the entrance and in the parking lot. There’s also constantly charity people asking for money in the lobby. Ridiculous. Let me grab my groceries in peace. I shouldn’t have to deal with begging multiple times within 3 minutes of entering a store.
