Good for a metro supermarket but often lacks stock and the veg and fruit section will have sections which are just empty with only a few sad looking eggplants left. Worth travelling a bit further to Countdown Grey Lynn to get a broader selection of fruit and veg.

nThere is wheelchair parkingn2 floors of under store parkingnAs like most countdowns clean and presentable large asiles .nAs you enter the store on your left is a bakery sandwich wraps kiosk I didn't have a good look at it just saw what I described.. how convenient.nAlso very handy a pharmacy for prescription and medical medications etc..nI was satisfied with my experience at this countdown

Came in on the 3rd of December at around 8pm and there was a blackboard sign infront of the entrance with a small elf doll on it, the sign said that if I found the elves friend and brought it to the cashiers I would get a 'treat'. I found it and brought it to the cashier. He didn't know anything about it and started laughing at us. Very disappointing. Definitely encouraging future shoplifting.nThey also made fun of us for the amount of food we got.nThe store is laid out in an extremely inconvenient way, and a lot of the shelves were miss labelled.nDo not recommend shopping here and will definitely avoid myself.

I come here quite often when trying to find something to eat, and I usually can find good quality, cheap quick sale bread in astonishing half price even lower. It's a nice Countdown at Ponsonby. They’ve got larger varieties and many more products there even in-store pharmacy I've never seen it in other Countdown. At the entrance there were cleaning and sanitising products for the trolley thankfully. Space is clean and tidy. Self-checkout is clean too.
