Whangarei Central Holiday Park

There are new people in the office and they are rude and bigoted, hung up the phone immediately after telling them I was at the office. where did the old management go, Fiona and her husband? They were the sweetness couple! sorry for bad English.

On the upside, the staff is very friendly and a late check-in isn't a problem either. The location is good too.nnOn the downside, we were given a middle room, on both sides were loud guests or they are living there...?, they were also drying their towels on our table... I read about the noise issue in reviews earlier so it is known...n10 metres away from the room was the trash collection point, the wheelie bins were the view from the room window..nThe toilet in the man's bathroom wasn't even mounted to the floor and the showers were old and worn, the rest of the bathroom was halfway refurbished.nnIf you get room nr. 8 just refuse it, you better go and find a cabin someplace else.

What a delightful welcome. Very friendly hubby and wife team who made us feel right at home. Great place to park up in our motorhome as it was centrally located at a good price. We stayed an extra night. Clean toilets and nice hot showers were gratefully received. Renovations around the campground did not disturb our peace and quiet. It was also nice to chat with the other friendly campers, just like the old days. Will definitely return here next time we come to Whangarei.

Very cheap, but still rlly nice campsite, plenty of space, great kitchen with 3 whole stoves to cook next to each other, 4 sinks and 2 fridges. Very cheap and almost central of wangarei

Very clean facilities, very helpful and understanding people and very central to Whangarei. What else to say? Fantastic neighbors too.. should come 10/10
