The Lookout Bar and Kitchen

Lookout Bar has a great vibe – awesome views, friendly staff, and solid food. The smoked pizza was seriously good – crispy base, great flavour, and that smoky touch really makes it stand out.nnSeafood was super fresh, especially the prawns and calamari – cooked just right. Only downside was the sauce on a couple of dishes – felt a bit heavy and overpowered the natural flavours. Would’ve been perfect with just a lighter touch.nnStill, a great place to relax with a drink and enjoy the view. Worth a visit, especially if you’re into bold flavours and casual coastal dining.

We had dinner at The Lookout Bar tonight. Our booking was for 7:30, and we arrived 10 minutes early—luckily, they were able to accommodate us, which was great.nnWe were really looking forward to dining here, as it’s in such a nice area, but sadly, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. We ordered the beef burger and seafood pasta, but we waited 40+ minutes for our food. It would have been nice if the staff had informed us of the wait time so we could have ordered an entrée while waiting.nnWhen the food finally arrived, the burger lacked seasoning, and the pasta looked like a mess on the plate—not at all like the photo on the menu. The flavors were there, but it was disappointing overall. For the price, we expected better quality. Pretty average experience, which was a shame because we were excited to try this place.

Food was amazing. Loved the whole environment. Place was a vibe but not a cluttered, messy feel. Busy but maintained to where every worker knew their job. Workers were polite and courteous. Best steak ever. The sauce to the steak My fav dish in pic Will be a spot we’d eat at often.

Love this place, took my adult son who hates going to restaurants their for his birthday dinner... he loved the place. Not too noisey, food was delicious and he was very chill there. We all loved the food and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!.nWe got a platter with a range of things and a pizza...best idea!!

Went for birthday lunch, arrived at 11am was seated immediately..Drinks arrived quickly and 7 large meals arrived within 40 mins.. Excellent food and highly recommend it all..Would definitely return.
