Good Neighbour

We had such a lovely experience at Good Neighbour Rototuna! The service was excellent. We were seated quickly and offered drinks straight away. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful with recommending what to order.nnIt was our 10 year wedding anniversary, and to our surprise they brought out a cheesecake with “Happy 10th Anniversary” written on the plate. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our night extra special!nnThe food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and came out nice and fast. We thoroughly enjoyed everything.nnHighly recommend Good Neighbour! We’ll definitely be back!

Staff were great, adult burger was tasty, but the kids pizza meal is tiny, my boy is still hungry and to be honest the adult burger while tasty didnt fill me either, maybe a small side salad or larger chips punet would help fill the spot, its the same size as the kids chips punet.

Had our 60th Party there this past weekend. Polly and Kyle were our barstaff and they were fantastic. We so appreciated their service and great attitude. The food served was fabulous and the venue was excellent.nTotally recommend if you want a great party.

Had literally the worst experience dining at Good Neighbour bar and eatery Rototuna. For 1 we asked if we could change the table they gave us as it was right at the door where a cold breeze was coming through and they said they couldn’t move us, yet there were around 6 tables that were left vacant, 2 of those tables were still left empty when we left. Out etree and drinks took an hour to come and our main course took 2 hours to come after they told us it would take 30 minutes. My wife’s food was cold and my salad was filled with chilli’s which was not on the menu so I couldn’t eat it. I ordered bottled water as my mouth was on fire, but it didn’t arrive. We tried making contact with our waitress but they kept avoiding us. 3 hours later, we realised we were not welcome at this establishment and decided to pay our bill of $135 and leave with half our food in a take away container. We will not be visiting this establishment again and will not be encouraging our friends and family to support it. We have a big following and community of friends behind us and we travel extensively but this is the first time we have experienced such terrible service.nn“reply to the wonderful owner”nnWow..that response just confirms my sentiment. In truth, we could tit for tat all day on details, however as a customer I rate my experience. Honestly, not everything was awful, it was the fact that we were treated poorly and there was no accountability for the tacky service that definitely stands out. I don't often give negative reviews on digital platforms, but was given the idea by a member of your staff when mentioning my distaste that night. I would never revisit and would not recommend. But hey, I'm sure you have plenty of clients who've had a wonderful time.

Always enjoy the mussel and prawns but on Friday night I found it a bit dry not much sauce. I asked for more sauce which was given to me. The waitress was amazing. Her service was 10/10. Steak should be added to menu
