Tend Waltham Medical Centre

The medical centre has turned so bad since new ownership,nI have been here 24 years with our whole family at the centre with now only me left as everyone else in our family left since a miss diagnosed cancer because the doctor said it was just arthritis, turned to be major cancer,n2-3 week wait for appointments, receptionist is so unprofessional and unkind.nRude centre now and would definitely not recommend, I have private name so they don’t know who’s posting the centre needs to not be money hungry and care about the current patients. Even there own staff are leaving

NEW RECEPTIONIST IS SLOW AND TOO CHATTY ON THE PHONEthis is why nobody can get in on phone calls cause she takes so godamm long even with me she doesn’t know how to conversate briefly instead just dragged it on , I even had to say because no reply “well please get the nurse to call me regarding my disability son” and I just hung up because she is too godamm SLOW!!nnEITHER GIVE HER ANOTHER ROLL OR TRAIN HER TO BE SHARP AND FAST and efficient on the phone!! Nemind the stories !!nn2nd dr standage always dismisses diagnoses because she thinks she knows better when my pediatric told me otherwise ! I don’t think doctors should be dismissing disability children - “because they don’t think they have” they should always get a second opinion! Otherwise ur going to make peoples lives hard!nn3rd me and my son have been loyal to the clinic for 6 years even when moved we didn’t change as I could get in with appointments fast for my son , however I’m hoping now you guys aren’t taking in heaps of enrolments because I can Bearly fit my son in , THE WAIT IS LIKE 2 WEEKS NOW ! and that’s abit disappointing !nnPlease stop being money hungry and start actually staying a float with the patients and stop bringing in too many patients for enrolment. And bring in more experienced doctors who actually care about PEOPLE!!!

I enjoy going to see my GP apart from the health reasons we all go to the medical centre for, however, admin should not call people causing undue stress over bookings. It is really none of your business why people go to see their GP, is there.nThe old receptionist are dearly missed.

Whoever managed the receptionist recruitment need to be fired,I had this lady answered my call called hesh or something like that,she was so rude,after hearing my accent and noticed I'm not from nz I noticed very hostile attitude,she wanted to transfer me to someone else before even knowing why I was calling,when I tried to talk to explain what I needed she said she is very busy and has a lot of people in front of her,why do you answer the phone if you can't give me your attention? Why transfer me to a nurse if you don't know what I need? Very poor customer service and not professional,I don't pay to be treated this way and kindness should be in every interaction,customer service is not for you.nTrain your employees to listen to the customers and attend their issues.

Really great - some wonderful doctors. If I've had any issues, they sort it out. Really reassuring that I can call and they find a way to make things happen.
