Beckford Health - Open for enrolments

Hate to leave a bad review but I have never been talked to so poorly by a doctor with no empathy. I came in as I am constantly tired and sick from my glandular, I got told that I shouldn’t be tired because i’m young and was asked what the ‘real’ reason I was tired was, then told me it was probably just allergies. There was no empathy or compassion and I was treated like i was just being dramatic. I got in my car and burst into tears. The rest of the doctors and staff are lovely, but please consider when hiring someone new whether they have the compassion for patients. I am now too scared to go back. Patients want help and compassion not judgment and criticism.

I attended my appointment for a medical certificate, where I felt Mil discriminated against me and over reacted, without adequately addressing either of the concerns I approached him about. I have complained to the Medical Council. Mil’s behaviour was nothing short of appalling, and the response from the practice regarding my complaint was disgusting also. I do not recommend Tend Beckford, or Dr. Mil Vervoort

I just love every visit with Dr Lisset. My thoughts, feelings, and words are received with attention, empathy, and respect, leading to a sense of being understood and validated. Furthermore she has extensive understanding of the female body and goes out of her way to make sure you get the care that you need. Best doctor I ever had.

Nurse Emma was absolutely amazing. She gave my 5 month old baby’s vaccination today and I was so glad that we had her today as she was so gentle and quick. Everything about her was very professional and we went home feeling very looked after.

Dr Donald Palmer, NP Rosie Rhodes are my regular providers of care and they are always so efficient and helpful when dealing with my health concerns. They both have excellent resources of information to share for multiple ways of treating a health issue no matter how big or small. It’s a very holistic approach combining western and naturopathic medicine to help treat the symptoms and cause. They go above and beyond and I know that they treat everyone with the same care and attention so it’s never a bother for me to wait. Thank you both for your excellent care.
