I always go in when my prescriptions need renewal and the front desk staff are always kind, courteous and efficient in dealing with me, making the process super easy. Thanks team.
My family and I have been going to this Practice for years. The doctors, nurses and all staff are so friendly and caring. They're especially good to babies and children. We love to see Dr Kim Lawson the best, but over the years we've probably seen all the doctors and they've all been so professional and empathetic. It's hard to get an appointment within 3 days but that seems like an issue all over the country. Promed are good at putting my kids on the cancellation list and phoning immediately to fit us in. It's not local to us but worth the drive to see really good doctors and nurses.
Unfortunately my doctor has left the practice. She was excellent. My wife and I were both clients for several years but have now found a new practice as we became severely disenchanted with the management of this practice. One time while ordering a script repeat online they tried to charge her $30 to send them an email! This was separate to the $25 script fee. Another time she was asked to book a double appointment for a diabetic review. She was there for a total of 5 minutes but they still insisted on charging for the second appt which was charged at $65! We are pensioners. Then they started charging her $10 for checking INR results every 2 weeks claiming it was done by the doctor when previously it was done by the practice nurse. My daughter has told me similar stories from the same practice. Good doctors, but very greedy for every dollar.
I've always had great service from the medical staff here.
My gp was amazing at her job and showed alot of patient care. I wish reception and nursing staff and managers showed the same level of care. Promeds level of communication is beyond poor, it could take up to 2-3 weeks to get back with a definite answer. I had a server medical injury where I was declined proper pain relief and to be reffered back to a specialist from another Dr. The nurses and reception showed no respect for me when I was having to chase up my own blood test results that were urgent, after the phone call I had to call a crisis helpline as they put me in a mentally stressed state. When making a formal complaint Promed was very defensive and took very little responsibility for how they treated me and didn't even complete an accurate investigation. I move to promed doctors in the beginning of the year as I got told how amazing my gp was and now i have left them a month or so ago. As my patient needs were not being addressed and I felt like I had no support or respect from promed and sadly from my experiences I can't recommend promed doctors as being a good GP practice. Which is sad as my GP was an amazing supportive doctor it's such a same no other staff would show me any patient respect or care.nn*Edit: I have just seen promeds response. My GP at the time was Victoria Flight with Clark can't remember his last name was my back up GP when Victoria was away. Kim I believe her last name was Lawson the managing director didn't even complete an an accurate investigation and I'm sure management would have known directly who I was as Pegasus health also got involved.nnThis has been some time now but I have only just noticed promed doctor response, even though at the time of the complaint there would have been a direct link as it was a very serious complaint of lack of care towards me a patient. Promed doctors had no recollection at the time of my complaint, it truly shows the number of volume of complaints promed doctors must experience or is it how important and seriously promed deal with complaints, especially ones that have affected there patients wellbeing due to the treatment by staff and again Victoria Flight was a supportive and truely caring Dr which I made clear in my email at the time.nIt's just such a same that I had no support from any other staff there especially reception and nurses and when I was making a complaint Kim I believe is a DR and owner. Which disappointingly didn't even complete an accurate investigation and tired to make excuses for the practice to not sounds as bad.nnone that I remembered is apparently I had a free appointment as Dr flight spent 2 appointments with me. I said no she didn't she came and got me 15 minutes late. Kim didn't know really what to say and At the time it felt like Kim the owner and managing director was just trying to make an excuse to make the practice look better but it was more insulting. when In reality I just got yelled at by reception and nurseries because I was literally disabled physically and literally could hardly move at 23 years old with 2 walking sticks very dramatic life change and I missed a phone call by 10 seconds for blood tests results that were super important for my health and potential causation of why I may have been disabled.nnFrom memory Pegasus health instructed the managing director to do an investigation with many things not accurate which I made Kim aware at the time with Kim's comments like I will make the staff members aware of this.nnWhich didn't actually address my concerns I know it has been some time now but I am truly shocked with the response I got from promed doctors the extra information is so others actually believe I was truly a patient at Promed Doctors and not making up my experience at the practice on Cranford st next to the Edgeware shops. I think I said enough information to claim my experience as real. it has been some time but promeds response seemed as if my experience didn't truely happen, which I didn't appreciate trying to discredit my experience due to staffs convenient lack of memory at the time.
