I don't appreciate being told that I should write my 3 monthly appointment down as text messages sometimes fail...I have never experienced failure of a text reminding me that my payment is due.nThe same receptionist was very unhelpful when I requested an extension of my medical note.nOn a positive note my Doctor is marvelous and the majority of the receptionists are very helpful and understanding
Seems appointment times are irrelevant here. The shortest wait time I've had is 35 minutes but on average I'm waiting 45 -60 minutes for my appointments. Not ideal to be sitting in a space for that period of time when you are unwell or have a toddler. I made the shift to have a medical centre closer to home once I had my child but I transferred from a medical centre where you would wait a maximum time of 20 minutes. Feels like the commute would be a better use of my time.nI appreciate everyone who works here is kind, helpful and are doing the best they can but if I had my time over I would have remained with my old medical centre.
Extremely frustrating experience with this clinic’s phone system. I’ve been left waiting for over 10 minutes multiple times while it says I’m number 1 in the queue, yet the phone just keeps ringing with no answer.nnThis isn’t a one-off—it happens consistently, no matter the time of day. It makes it incredibly difficult to even get through to someone, which is unacceptable for a healthcare provider.nnThey seriously need to fix this. Patients shouldn’t have to deal with this level of inefficiency just to access basic support.
Taking on new patients even though it's obvious that they can't handle them, the surgery was owned by Mercury capital and is now been sold to a equity firm in the USA. This is what happens when corporations get involved with healthcare, money is more important than people and their health for the owners. It's very hard to get to see my own doctor, he's always booked up and I end up seeing different doctors every time. The staff and doctors are very good, it's not their fault, the one star is for them.
Paige is extremely discriminatory towards neurodivergent patients. She has no patience and will stop medication that is dangerous to do so suddenly. The phone lines take so long to get through that you end up having to give up, if you are 5 minutes late you are put down by reception and the doctor, but they can be over a hour late to your appointment. Paige uses very unprofessional language like “bro what”. I requested over a week ago now for my medical records to be transferred to Morehouse medical which is an amazing practice who listens and takes their patients seriously.
