Sport of Kings Motel

Spent three nights here, the rooms felt clean.nWe had a room with a private spa, and while a bit dated it was bliss coming back on a cold day to soak in.nCar park was tight but manageable.nWould definitely stay here again.

Fantastic!! We are over the moon with our choice of motel.nnWe arrived at reception, and were greeted with the warmest welcome.nnOn booking I mentioned it was for an Anniversary, when shown to our room, it was super special to see 2x red helium balloons and a heart chocolate on our bed. Personal touch that started our stay with so much positivity.nnOur room was great with our own spa, bed was comfortable, lovely sheets, spa towels, coffee and milk etc, our room was serviced, towels changed etc that was appreciated.nnHeated pool was a treat, wasn't too hot was extremely clean as was the area.nnThe location was great all the things we wanted to do were no more than 15mins away, the motel was also quiet, although it was full it was prefect.nnWe would absolutely book again, and would recommend your motel to our whanau & friendsnnThe only recommendation I would make is some type of air con or additional fan one small fan was in wardrobe would be helpful during the hotter monthsnnThank you so much

Great stay here. They hv all the things we need even more then we think about. Private SPA pool is amazing. Staffs are so nice! They deserved 5 stats definitely!

A lovely Motel on a quiet street. We had 2 beds, 1 in a bedroom next to the private hot tub & 1 bed in the lounge. It was a drive into town & to Te Puia, but both were probably a 20 mins walk if you wanted to walk.

It was disappointing to find a very hot room with heating on high in the middle of summer with no air conditioning or even a fan. The heat was unbearable forcing us to sleep with the door open as well as windows. There was no after hours commication making it impossible to let anyone know of our concerns. All this led to a very sleepless night.nAlso the shower and bathroom needed a good clean especially the shower box.nWe would like a refund please.
