Greenview Motel

Hygiene problem . Waste of money bed and all furniture's are old . Cooking pots tables cooktop fridge and even blankets were dirty. Unprofessional grade .nI can't say much even the heater which they should provide it was not that much expectations. Some of the things I have to clean myself and I.have to buy my own blankets. Very low grade.

Great hotel on a budget. Rooms were stocked and clean. Hot tub wasn't open. Room was VERY loud. You can hear all the traffic and there wasn't any air conditioning or fans so you had to open a window because it got so stuffy and hot. We could hear the trucks and road so clearly whether the windows were shut or not. Staff was so helpful and friendly, especially for late check in!

This hotel is so bad in many levels. I regret not reading reviews before I booked and paid. There is no AC, granted they have fan, but you have to open the window to let air in and the noise was constant late into the night. If you’re a light sleeper, it’ll be hard to fall asleep. The building was never get remodeled since it was probably built in the 50’s. I’ve been in many hotels with old building but can still have nice experiences.nThe only thing provided is bath towel and hand towel, that’s it! Not even soap to wash your hands at the sink, let alone hair dryer!!! For the price they charge, I can’t believe how stingy they are with amenities!!!nnThe town itself is great to visit. It’s an hour drive from Hobbiton and it have very active thermal springs all over town. The geological history of this place is fascinating. I’d love to come back to explore more but definitely not back to this hotel!

Summary: Avoid this motel at all costs, unhygienic and extremely loud.nnBad:nNoisy: the soundproofing between rooms and outside is absolutely awful, heard every bang and conversation from other guests, noise from traffic is terrible the window design is outdated and the gaps between the ranch slider door meant we could hear every vehicle that went by.nnMould: The mould in the bathroom is disgusting, almost every surface had mould. The mould extended into the main room, even the kettle was mouldly inside!nnBeds: mattresses needed replacing years ago, could feel every spring and wire. Beds weren't made a single day past the first night.nnBP Lights: with the BP being right next door the lights from the forecourt bled into the room, the curtains didn't block much of the light.nnToilet Leak: the toilet would intermittently fill constantly and leak out into the bowl adding to the constant noise throughout the night.nnGood:nRedwoods: The motel is a short distance from the redwoods forest and the staff allowed us to keep our bikes in the room.nnRoom Size: Rooms are spacious.nnCheck In: Check in was easy, we arrived after hours and was able to retrieve our key from lockbox outside reception.nnFree WiFi:

Nice, polite reception staff, and great price, so expected little. I got what I paid for.nMattress should have been replaced a decade ago, lights odd colours, creamer not milk, fan so broken it was dangerous, shower pressure and heat all over the place.... pools utterly filthy and unusable.nnOtherwise...fine. LOL.
