An excellent motel in the heart of Rotorua. Rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. As all the bits that you’d need. Spent two great nights here. Bed was delightful. I’d happily stay there again.Rooms: 5/5
We enjoyed our two night stay and hope to bring our kids back with us next time. The room was large and well appointed, the spa tub was huge and wonderful to use, and the location was amazing for the activities we had planned zorb, luge, Polynesian spa, redwood tree walk. Highly recommend! Nearby activities: A short drive from many popular activities including Zorb, Skyline Luge, Kiwi hatchery, Polynesian spa, Redwood treewalk, etc.
no frills hotel. i found it a bit too expensive for what it was in comparison to other Motels in NZ, but still acceptable. i am personally not a fan of carpets in hotel rooms which is pretty much every hotel in NZ since i always find them a bit dirtyRooms: 3/5
I really liked many aspects of this resort, but the location is in the part of the city closest to many of the thermal parks. While this is great for quick access to the parks, the sulfur smell is always present and sometimes very strong and unpleasant. The pool was pleasantly warm and clean. We didn’t take advantage of the mini-golf course or tennis courts, but they looked well maintained.
Our room was very clean, quiet, and equipped with a small kitchenette. We found everything we needed. Also, we enjoyed playing table tennis there.Rooms: 5/5

So first time at regal palms resort and I loved it , the room we were in was big and very comfortable, the full kitchen was welcoming as well as the huge bed and bathroom with a spa bath .. everything you could want was in the suite ...
