Alpin Motel

Amazing room for the price! Last minute booking and what we received was awesome hospitality and a great room. The people were friendly and the room was great, being able to have a separate lounging room from the bedroom was perfect. Being able to relax while the toddler slept in a separate area was perfect, trying to find somewhere that had this without having to pay for 2 separate rooms was so difficult to find, so when we found this place, we were stoked! Will definitely be coming back!

Staff were lovely. Beds comfortable. Towels changed dailyy. Rooms and bathroom are dated which gives bathroom a sense of not being very clean. A few unfinished patches on wall which need painting. Hot water turned off without any warning and no effort made when we had trouble once turned back on. Enjoyed being in the tub and watching a movie but when other people in other rooms are doing bombs the room shakes... Hence we didn't take notice of the earthquake to begin with lol

Room was a little run down, microwave didn't work properly and hot plate took way too long to heat up. Built in panel heaters in the room and lounge didn't seem to heat up much, so room got pretty cold over night. Shower/bathroom is nice has a hair dryer and beds are comfortable. Hot tub outside was nice, but would be even better if there was a shelter over it. Pool area and garden would be awesome in summer.

From a very helpful phone call at the start, this place suited us well. Plenty of room for 2 adults and child, clean and well set out, and lovely to have the hot tub in each room. Nothing was too much trouble. Just I would suggest them either providing swimming towels, or making it clear that you bring your own, as we ran out of towels with the swimming

Each hotel room comes with private spa! Also there is a pool for guests.

Friendly service but the rooms really need some love. Just a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. A little maintenance here and there. The room was comfortable and clean enough, loved the private hot tub. Just felt a bit dingy due to lack of upkeep.

We had an amazing 2 night stay at the Alpin Motel and Conference Room during winter. The rooms and bathroom were clean and tidy and very modern . Bed and sofa beds were very comfortable. the hot pool and hot tub was amazing. My teenager girls loved swimming during winter time. Excellent private parking, The staff were very polite and friendly.

Of our mini roadie staying at 4 different motels, the Alpin was the most spacious & we felt the best value. It was clean, tidy & the room layout worked well for our group. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Rotorua, we didn't want to leave!Rooms: 5/5

Being greeted like an old friend was just the start of a great stay. The rooms had everything we needed for a self contained unit. The rooms were clean and the outside hot tub was a extra bonus. Heated pool and bbq area were also great. I would highly recommend The Alpin.

Close to needing a bit of a spruce up but for the price it is comfortable, clean and great value for money. Each room has a private spa outdoors and my kids loved it as did us adults. Kids enjoyed the thermally heated pool which we had all to ourselves. Sound proofing is great too so it was quiet&peaceful- just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle.
