Rotorua International Motor Inn

Stayed last night at the ASURE Rotorua International Motor Inn. What a great Motor Inn - handy to the centre of town, Reception Staff were very accommodating and all communication was clear. We had lunch at their Japanese Restaurant - wow it was delicious a must if you are staying - well done Chefs! We had Sashimi, Tempura Vegetables and the amazing Prawn Sushi. The decor is casual but food from the menu divine! Rooms spacious and clean, beds very comfy. Totally recommend you give this venue a go when next in Rotorua. I must add, after all the bad press Rotorua has been receiving after exploring town and around I could not fault it - well done Rotorua. Rooms: Spacious, comfortable and very well appointed and clean Nearby activities: Handy to all Rotorua’s activities Food & drinks: Food from the menu at the Japanese casual restaurant great - totally recommend.

Rooms were nice and accomodating. Beds were comfortable. Have all the necessities you need in a room. The spa was definitely a plus. The bathroom/shower was a climb in bath tub with a small glass door. Decent pressure. The toilet rolls were small, half a normal size that we nearly run out of on 2nd night and had no availability to more. Even the servo across the road had none so had to have tissues provided by motel as back up. Parking, was a nightmare. Had to be back at room before 3pm when other guests would check in otherwise would lose carpark space. Astrid, was amazing as well as other staff and cleaners. Would go back at that price. Stayed with the family. The kids loved it and found the sofa bed comfortable. Our bed was also comfortable and we spend almost every afternoon at the spa. The Japanese restaurant serves great breakfast options and we couldn't have enough of their Ramen which was tops. The rooms were cleaned every day and the beds made. The best part of all is that there was no sulffer smell at all! The lady at reception was very kind and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay there. Also plenty of parking and plenty of facilities to cook your own meals in the room but it was so close to the city that we ended up eating out every night Rooms: Very spacious and comfortable Nearby activities: 5 to 8 minutes drive to everything

Located a little away from the city center, but still easily accessible, only a few minutes by car. Well equipped and clean. Reception was friendly and helpful. The small pool in the middle of the parking lot is well intentioned but not very appealing. Overall it was a good stay here. Somewhat of a drawback was the noise from outside, the sliding doors were too poorly soundproofed. On the one hand because of the highway right next to the motel and the corridor directly in front of the rooms on the second floor, where people walk around with suitcases and rattle early in the morning.

Rooms were adequate and what we ordered and paid for. What was irritating , and hence earns the motel a one star review, that returning from dinner we found that there was no parking spots available and an unstaffed reception. The reason you choose to stay in a motel is the off street parking.Rooms: 3/5

Located just out of city centre. Lovely, clean, spacious room with kitchenette and lounge area with outdoor spa. Sadly, there is a fair bit of traffic noise.Rooms: 5/5

Room is spacious and tidy, it has good wifi and good entertainment channels on TV including ESPN, skysports etc.. would hard to find a car space if u r back late at night.Rooms: 5/5

Absolutely clean and tidy. Comfortable 5 star beds. Rooms are a good decent size. Good strong air con. I would definitely come back! Rooms: Suuuuuper clean and tidy and up to date furniture, beds, tv, air con etc.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! Our two-bedroom apartment with a SPA was perfect for the two nights we stayed. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. During our stay, we dined at their restaurant, IZUME Japanese Restaurant, which offers conveyor belt sushi. The food was delicious and added to the overall great experience.

Reception staff are very accommodating, rooms are fairly clean, nightly rates are ok, parking is very accessible and plentiful. Water is hot, room is well equipped, air conditioning is great, bed is very comfortable, can hear through the walls a wee bit but nothing the TV/music channels can't hide.
