Seafood Paradise

Came here for lunch after seeing the signs and deciding I was craving Yum Cha. The restaurant was initially welcoming, but it was concerning to see two 2 pigeons having free reign to walk around inside the store, along with a smaller bird finch?. The food was hot when it eventually came out, but it seemed to take a while given the store was basically empty. The flavours were okay. Had to find a staff member to order drinks we weren't offered when we were seated. Edit: I got mild food poisoning. Parking: None

Non existent service, tried to dine here about 5 times for lunch but we were ignored each time. Tried again today but the staff just walked past us although we tried to say hello to them to grab their attention.Food: 1/5

Great food and wonderful service, came back here twice now. first time was just ordering some simple dish but this time actually have time to enjoy the food. Strongly recommend the egg tart as they use homemade sauce, you can really taste the hint of honey. Organic food ingredients match with the cocktails we order. Price they offered its worth for spending on it, and the manager Qian was really helpful, thx you. Parking for 2 hours is great for catching up with friends too. We loved it. Thank you again l, lovely restaurant and lovely manager.

Food was very nice, mostly traditional dim sum dishes at our lunch sitting chili beef dumplings possibly a bit bland. Location and atmosphere was great, as you expect on the viaduct. They were short-staffed the day we were there, so pointed out the condiment and tea refills rather than bringing them. EDIT : as of May 2023, service seems to have improved!

Harbor prices... however great drinks and the food is fresh and tasty. Everything looked very appetising. Was hard to choose. Cosy and very clean. Only got two Staffs but they are friendly and provide a nice atmosphere.

If i could click a negative star I would. The waiter is useless. The food is all cooked across the road in the original restaurant and taken over to this place in the rain covered in tin foil. Glasses were late to come. Food must have been cooked in Wellington and flown up it was so slow as other comments say. The owner yelled out the waiter in front of the public. He needs to go on a course of good manors, and the waiter needs to put a complaint in about the owner. It's a place you would not want to go and maybe a fast food takeaway would be quicker and way way better. Judge it yourself and go.

Good yum cha option if you are by the Wynyard Quarter. Fast service and lots of parking space around.Food: 5/5

Nice meal. Fresh ingredients yummy taste, amazing view and friendly stuff.

I have been there last Sunday for lunch, know nothing about the Ymmm Char, the young Manger helped me out, really nice service, will be back. Nice place for work lunch.
