The Shuckers Brothers

So happy I found this little gem of a restaurant!! Located down at the harbour with views of ferry terminal and surrounds it’s the perfect place to enjoy seafood and a glass of wine or beer. I ordered 3 types of oysters, all were delicious and fresh. Along with the Salmon Gravlax & Seafood Chowder. Sat up at the bench near the kitchen and got to watch the chefs in action which was great. Head chef Nate was awesome and had great knowledge of all the dishes. Definitely needs to be on the list when looking at places to eat in Auckland.

Absolutely fabulous spot for dinner and drinks! We popped in for dinner last night and the food was simply stunning! Oyster, of which we sampled all the varieties, were stunning! Fish and chips cooked absolutely to perfection! We topped it off with a bottle of Champaign and have absolutely no complaints!!! The view back over the harbor is also something to enjoy whilst eating and drinking the evening away! A strong recommend from me!!!

Had lunch here and it was very tasty! We had the oysters from Waiheke, grilled prawns, smoked Kahawai croquettes, and seafood chowder! The bubbly waitress explained the menu and suggested things! The food was yummy yum specially the croquettes and prawns! Definitely will go back again!

This place is truly a gem! Came here to spend some time after getting off the ferry and flying out. As soon as I sat down, the service was fantastic. Sat at the bar and the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. I love my oysters and these were the best oysters I had had in years - fresh, large and delicious, shucked right in front of you. Definitely check this place out if you're in Auckland!

Go to Shucker Brothers. The service was great, the waitresses were SO MUCH FUN, the food was served so quickly that it surprised my partner and the food itself was just perfection. Try the specials whenever they have them. We had this buttery, spicy crayfish ravioli that was just beyond amazing! The way the butter would kind of get soaked up into the pasta to get to the beautiful crayfish bundle of goodness inside and the spice would provide a lovely kick and excitement to the dish was just beyond words. But then the butter would help to sooth some of the spice made the dish feel so comforting. The crayfish ravioli was the best dish I have had in a very long time. Definitely recommend the oysters of course; so fresh and the mignonette was beautiful, kingfish crudo loved the balance of the fruits with the fish, mussels that broth. So good. and the other special they had that night, scallops so pillowy soft and beautiful The Shucker Brothers didn’t hit it out of the park, they hit it out of this planet. I’ll be seeing you every time I come to Auckland for sure. I miss you crayfish ravioli.

This is a must visit when in Auckland. Beautifully presented as well as tasty food and drinks. A great way to kill some time waiting for a ferry, or just down near the viaduct. Friendly staff. I will be back.

Casual walk-in style restaurant it doesn't take reservations. Recommended for small groups. It serves a small portion of seafood menus. Everything is so tasty.Food: 5/5

Great staff, super friendly and helpful. Enjoyed grilled oysters the minimum of 3 followed by the Trevally ceviche. Looking forward to visiting again soon to try the Chowder which had already sold out for the evening.

Seafood paradise a perfect Sunday afternoon small place but full of love all the dishes we ordered were good but I'll take my hat off to the grilled oyster damn that was good the mussels not really my favourite but it's a personal preference the lady who served us was beautiful and so nice the afternoon would've been perfect if only one drunk guy wasn't making a scene it really ruined the experience as it's more of a communal table sharing ish set up nonetheless if we take out the overly drunk guy who keeps forcing the staff to go back in his table it was indeed a perfect Sunday

Like have fish and chip and oysters on my last day. Saw this from google map and gave it a try. Ordered fish and chip with oyster fritters. The fish and chip is great, the oysters fritters not what I expected. It’s omelette type not the deep fried in pieces. I should have asked, it taste ok. We saw next table having calamari, they look really good so we added on. It’s really good! Fresh, soft on the inside and crispy crust on the outside. Amazing, pls try. The sauce is some kind of butter spice. They have limited seating inside and with outside seating facing the harbour. No coffee, they have wide selection of alcohol
