I was to rate this buffet 5 stars due to the variety of food and value for money, however the taste of food was not great I know it is a personal preference. They charged $77 for two adults and when you pay $5.50, you'll get unlimited drinks and I think it's a really good price. Their service was excellent and the staff was amazing. You get concession parking when you spend >$40. I would definitely go back there. Parking: You can get a concessional parking rate when you spend over $40 hence not too bad. Otherwise parking is expensive.
No oyster the day we came there.a bit disappointed.compensated by the shrimp.roast beef was good. perfectly cooked and not dry.soup options can be improved,a bit bland.dessert options were alright.1.5 hours stay. make sure to be on time to maximise experience. additional fee for unlimited drinks.staff were attentive to get our plates and utensils.
Came in for lunch and the service was good, especially when it was packed out lunch session. The food that was on for lunch buffet was ok, didn't really like the hot dishes, pork ribs were overly cooked, the beef stews were the same as well the other 2 hot dishes. There was only ham on carving and was a 5/10. Cold dishes were salads, mussels and prawns. Mussels tasted bland even with the flavour that it came with. Prawns were tiny and soggy. Salads were salads can't really go wrong with salads. Overall the menu and experience was mediocre . I'd recommend this place as a last resort.
Came for lunch buffet and experience was OK. Range was limited but understandable considering the recovery from covid. Wish the food was kept warmer especially considering the air con was on full blast. Decent 3/5
For a tourist attraction location buffet, the prices are actually quite good! Also, usually buffets kind of have mediocre food, and the drawcard is that you can eat as much as you want of it, but we genuinely enjoyed many of the things on the line-up - especially the butter chicken!! For desserts, the caramel slice and the triffle were my favorites.
Always worth every bite!!! Back to this amazing and lovely restaurant serving buffet dinner after 4 years. Offering variety of food, best desserts and drinks. Signs are visible, clean toilets and surrounding. Well mannered staff and efficient booking system. If you have not been to this place, please pay a visit, worth it Back again for my son’s birthday.
Went there last night 2022-6-23, for dinner, $40 per person, the food was quite good, it has bunch of different meat, shrimp, hot dishes, and dessert. Really worth the price, and the service was good as well. Would love to go there again in future.
The best buffet in Aotearoa best value of money in fantastic quality and amazing ambiance. The new Fortuna has amazing selection Im not a fan of buffet as I feel I don't get thevalue of my money not until I came back to Fortuna after almost a year. Awesome selection from seafood hot and cold, melt in your freakinouth meats, fresh salad bar, DIY nachos, chicken wings, cheese selection what a delight. Love how spacious the area is it doesn't feel cluttered. Service was fantastic too. Highly recommended. Coming back for more!
Came here Saturday night 1/4/2023 for a family birthday dinner, quality of food service was great and the different dessert range was fantastic aswell as the hot dishes around the buffet ,Definitely worth it!Food: 5/5
Saturday dinner. It cost almost 60 nzd. A bit pricey... Went there at 6pm. I like the circled dessertbut chocolate cake and oreo cake is toooo sweet that I can't even finish one... and the sauce for butter chicken. Had tomato, spinich and broccoli for veggies. Mamosa, shrimp rice cakeI forgot the name for it and potato are nice. There are oyster, mussle and shrimp for seafood. I didnt see any fruit or juice though. I like it that they have skim milk. Theres also a coffee machine with chocolate milk.
