The room was average. The sink in the bathroom didn’t work, the water does not go down at all. Bedside table are covered with dust. If you are after some fresh air, better not stay here as you can’t open the window.nAfter a long day, always about to lie down in bed, found this guy under the cover, so do t think the room is well cleaned.
Sadly, this particularly Quest hotel in Taupo does the Quest brand no favours at all! Our room was inadequately serviced with toiletries having not been replenished. No milk provided, or herbal teas, blood stain on carpet, smears on door and furniture. Glass shelf in bathroom not cleaned. We did not feel welcome, despite the numerous emails and letter of welcome I received. Debit card was charged prior to our arrival which I was not happy about. The so-called double bed was in fact two singles pushed together, with an uncomfortable join in the middle. We most certainly do not recommend, and will never stay again! Very disappointed! Frankly, I couldn't get out of the place quick enough!
Clean room with a comfortable bed.nGreat that there is a small well equipped kitchenette with cooktop.nLocated in a quiet area that is a small distance away from the main shops area.nReasonable price for a night’s accommodation.
Single room was basically bed and toilet. There wasn’t any room for suitcase. The biggest thing is sealed windows. You can’t open a window in a place with the best and cleanest air in the world! Just moldy AC
Away from main drag and just average overall. Suitable for us on a unexpected trip to Auckland. Room lacked Sky TV and when asked owner said he would have to charge a lot more. Strange indeed. In almost all places we’ve stayed over the years Sky has been available without noticing it breaking the bank.nI noted place was for sale so hopefully new franchise owners are a little more creative.
