My friends and I stayed here for 1 night and it was easily the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had. Liz and Steve are so wonderful. Kind, informative, professional and efficient. Breakfast was lovely, rooms and guest facilities were perfect. We arrived on sunset and the views were breathtaking. The only negative was that we only booked for 1 night!!! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Lodge.nThe food was great, the view of the lake from our bedroom was amazing.nAnd the hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and hospitable.nWould we stay there again ? YES we would , and we would recommend to all those that want a special place to stay.
What stunning place to stay. We were amazed with a beautiful room, amazing views and it was the definition of tranquilty. After a friendly greeting by Steve and Liz, lovely couple and hosts, they showed us to our room. Waiting on the bed for us was a complimentary box of chocolates, bottle of bubbly, and a cheese platter. Dinner was perfect, the portions was huge and to top it of the dessert was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also incredibly filling and fresh. We will definitely be coming back and would happily say this is best place to stay at in Taupo. A massive thank you again to Steve and Liz for a lovely stay.nStephan & Natasha Haywood
I used my grab one coupon to book at the hotel and I received booking confirmation on 6th January 2024 for my booking on June 2nd, 2024, and checkout on June 3rd.nnLater, I received cancellation mail on April 9th from the hotel informing me that I have booked on a public holiday and that voucher is not valid. I spoke to hotel and informed them that I did not book on a public holiday and that I am checking out on a 3rd which is a holiday and then hotel send me again a booking confirmation on April 9th.nnThen received a cancellation mail on April 26th which was confusing because we had already discussed about! Later on I did request the hotel to just provide me just accommodation and I do not need any other offers in the voucher as I had booked in early to surprise my partner for her birthday. This request was also not accepted by the hotel.
What a beautiful place. We were greeted by Liz and shown around the property. Such a gorgeous home. Our room was stunning as was the view. We had a bottle of bubbles a platter and chocolates waiting for us. We met Steve that night when we dined here. The meal was delicious. I honestly can't find any fault with Belle Vue lodge. We will definitely be coming back. A massive thank you to Liz and Steve for making our trip so memorable
