We stayed at this place for 2 nights. The staff who were there when we first checked in were very kind and helpful. We asked for a room upgrade, and they said that since the place was full, they could only upgrade us for one day, so we had to change rooms the next day. We agreed. At 10 am. on the 14th, the woman at the reception was very rude, and when I was paying the remaining amount of the accommodation, she threw the invoice and card receipt at me. I was so upset and angry. I didn't want to deal with her anymore, and I didn't want to talk to her. I got the key changed through my friend because I didn't want to talk with the rude lady.. Everyone EXCEPT THAT WOMEN was kind to us, and I'm grateful. Thank you.np.s. Oreo is a pretty cute dog .
Me and my partner traveled here from auckland for 2 nights the man at reception is friendly and so far it was the best lodge we've been to beautiful view close to all the nearest shops. Mind the nosie from upstairs from people using the water which doesn't bother us. We enjoyed it alot and would book again.
First stay was Friday 14th June 2024. Wonderful service. Solo trip to pick up Husband from Auckland. Half way stop. Glad to did. Room was warms Cossy and clean. Loved the spa after a morning of driving. Relaxed while watching my favorite show. Kitchen was fantastic. The view of the lake was beautiful. Couldn’t hear anything when doors closed best sleep. Will be back. Thanks for your service
Only good thing about this place is the view, perfect spot in front of the lake but that is where it stops. We had a down stairs unit and were kept up all night by the above units. Every time they use the toilet or turn a tap on there was a crazy loud noise coming from inside the walls presumably the plumbing. We spoke with a lady at reception on departure and she was not very helpful.
The view and the room was perfect. It was clean as well. Staff we're friendly. The spa bath was a big bonus.
