We had a great stay at phoenix.nThe Manager was really friendly and obviously understands the meaning of hospitality!nRooms were clean and beds comfortable.nThe Private Thermal spa was great.nWe came with our 4 year old, the grounds out the front are fully fenced with a tramp and gardens to explore.nHot water beach and a nice Café just a cross the road.nWe will stay again
We booked our stay with Phoenix Thermal Resort because we wanted a good size fridge, stove and oven and hot pools.nAn absolute pleasure our 3nights stay here. Exellent clean rooms, with good size fridge/freezer with Oven and stove top. Lovely service of our room daily, friendly and respectful staff. Our Host, Lily and Bob very hospitable and kind.nThe grounds full of beautiful gardens, flowers, cutely landscaped with lovely area to sit amongst the scenery, soak up the sun and enjoy the surroundings.nThe private large hot tub most definitely our highlight and such a treat. The cost was even better compared to many other places.nWill definitely come back here and we highly recommend it. Especially if you want to shop for food and cook it up yourselves. Facilities are great. Communal laundry, exellent and free to use.
We loved this place. It has a beautiful garden and outdoor spas. It's clean, comfortable and good value. We enjoyed walking around the lake, which is very close by. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Loved out stay here, the thermal pool left my skin so soft and smooth, bed was comfy, beautiful lot well maintained, we loved the location and would return! Staff were friendly and had lots of knowledge of things to do where to see the best sunset !
We recently spent 3 nights at the Phoenix Resort motel for a weekend away in Taupō. An older style motel with a lovely outlook to the garden and across to the lake. Our room was spacious and very clean, generous kitchen with kitchen facilities including dishwasher. The queen bed was comfortable with good quality linen, and we were kept very cosy with the heat pump.nThe hotelier was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had every thing we needed for our stay, with excellent recommendations for places to eat and also sights to see.nThe rooms have their own private thermal pool, and it was lovely, with the only downside being ours had a slow leak from the plug. The owner was quick to remedy this to a satisfactory outcome.nWe would definitely stay here again when we come visit Taupō again. Thank for having us!
