Amazing, kind & accommodating new owners!! It is always a joy supporting the lovely people at Pita Pit South City! I'm also vegan & they offer cooking the protein on the grill with baking paper other places in the past would just microwave if you don't want cross contamination. Very fresh & a delicious meal! Can't recommend these guys enough :

BEST PITAPIT Branch in Christchurch! This is my go-to pita pit, have tried other stores in Chch. And this is far have the most outstanding customer service. Always wrapped my pita in the neatest way as possible so it will not explode or get messy while I am eating it. They have new owners and they are giving their best to bring back the reputation of this store. And hopefully they can bring more customers.

Disappointing that the vegetarian options have to be microwaved in order to be truly vegetarian to be fair I’m glad they checked if I was okay to have my black beans done on the grill as it is used for meat also meaning that it isn’t as good as it could be if they made room for a grill strictly for vegetarian options. Still decent food, and good service, but wouldn’t be my first choice due to lack of well done vegetarian options.
