PAK'nSAVE Rotorua

Cheap prices and lots of choices. Big store with fresh fruit and veggies. Staff are friendly. It is easy to find and has a fuel station, too. Good place to save money on groceries.

Two years later and it appears their standards have actually improved, they now provide secure lockers for people who bring bags of their own and they've either gotten better, more understanding security or trained them... That or my glasses are able to pacify people which I only half doubt.nnOther than that its a typical Pak'nSave, cheaper than competitors, fairly busy, has a nice store baked goods section Their muffins in particular are always great and seem to retain most of their manual checkout staff unlike their competitors.

I’m a Chinese customer and I shopped at Rotorua PAK’nSAVE today. At around 4:20pm, I went through checkout at register 16. The female cashier looked unhappy the whole time and didn’t say a single word — no greeting, no “hello”, and no “thank you”, which felt unusually cold and unwelcoming.nnHowever, she greeted the customer behind me in a normal, friendly way. This made me feel uncomfortable and I’m concerned I may have been treated differently because of some reasons. I hope the store can look into this and make sure all customers are treated fairly and respectfully.

All I can say is this place is always busy- dodging cars and pedestrians, crazy. The prices are reasonable, but the brands we like are no longer in the store. A common brand, been on the shelves forever are either dearer, been replaced or non-existent. Dairy, Meat, Fruit and vegetables our main staplers are still priced too high, imagine the food safety and health compliance. Cost and waste.

Best place to buy everything and anything at this place. Excellent
